How to Shortcut YouTube

There are several keyboard shortcuts you can use to shortcut your YouTube experience. Shift-N will play the next video in your playlist, or the next recommended video. Shift-R and Shift-U will move you to the previous and next video, and Shift-U will move you to the search results.

Shift+P Move to the previous video

Shift+P will move you to the previous video in a YouTube playlist. You can also switch volume levels by pressing the up or down arrow. YouTube offers 20 volume levels. Pressing shift+n will skip the current video in a YouTube playlist. Using Shift+P to move to the previous video will be a quick and easy way to move from one video to another.

Pressing Shift+P will move you back one video. However, this function will only work if you have a playlist. If you are able to go back to the previous video, you can continue to watch it by pressing Shift+P. If you are not able to find a specific video, you can click on the 'back' button at the top-right corner of the player to return to the home page.

Shift+R Move to the next video

You can also press Shift+R to move to the previous video on YouTube. This shortcut will move you forward in the video, in 0.25-unit increments. You can also use the arrow keys to skip forward one frame at a time or use the arrow keys to move backward a frame or 10 seconds. You can also mute the audio by pressing the M shortcut key.

YouTube keyboard shortcuts can help improve your experience. These shortcuts can help make the video more accessible for everyone. To learn the shortcuts, press Shift+? on the YouTube homepage. Then, press the appropriate key for playing and pausing a video. Shift+J or Shift+R will advance the video forward or backward by ten seconds.

Shift+U Move to the search results

Shift allows you to access multiple accounts on YouTube, without having to log in separately to each one. All you have to do is click on the icon and type in the appropriate box. Shift will then search YouTube, and display the search results, with color options available.
